Links Consulting

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 July 2026

This policy explains how Links Consulting Ltd ("we", "us") handles personal data you provide through this website. We are the data controller for that information. If anything here is unclear, please contact us at hello@links-consulting.co.uk.

What we collect

We only collect the information you choose to send us through the contact form: your name, company (optional), email address, your selected area of interest, and the message you write. We do not ask for special-category or sensitive personal data, so please don't include it in your message.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss and provide our services. Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services, and taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.

How the form works

Our contact form is processed by Web3Forms, a third-party form-delivery service, which passes your submission to our email inbox. Their handling of the data is governed by their own privacy terms. The site itself is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.), which may process limited technical information such as IP addresses in server logs for security and delivery, as is standard for any website.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies, and does not currently use analytics. If we introduce analytics in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. We only share it with the service providers needed to operate the site and respond to you (as above), and where we are legally required to do so.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting relationship, and then delete it in line with our normal business retention practices.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise any of these, email hello@links-consulting.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it last changed.

This policy is provided in good faith as general information and is not legal advice. Please have it reviewed against your specific circumstances before relying on it.
